Nice. Looking forward to the book.

Here is another account of the Gillam tragedy.

Good looking bushwheels for the era. Wonder what they were.

It's a good book. The focus is mainly on the physiological impact of the early aviators on the Alaskan wilderness mindset and how it has changed and stayed the same over time. But it has some good tales and photos that I have not heard or seen elsewhere. A good read for anyone interested in Alaska history, aviation, or bush flying.

Thanks Zane! I get a little lull in the flying this time of year, so I do what all of those who are infected by the aviation bug do - read about and talk about flying!
