Re: There is an app for that!

I decided against Tapatalk because it's pay-to-post, and it uses an API. There's nothing wrong with that really, but I'd like to research it further.

In the meantime, I added a mobile-optimized theme that should be activated automatically if you access the site from iPhone, Android, and many other mobile devices. It still needs some tweaking.

Z - I noticed that the mobile version of the site is different. Maybe it's just on the dolphin/safari browser I use.

Yeah it's quite different; Very plain and lightweight. Kinda clunky too.

I dunno, Tapatalk looks good, but you guys will have to pay for the app if you want to post from it.

Actually I like it - fast and readable.

I think a link to revert back to the normal site for mobile users might be in order though.

NOOOOOO!!!! I hate that S#!t! Not automatically anyway. If I want to go to a mobile site, I'll go there, especially with an iPhone that deals with regular sites quite well. That's why I got it. Blackbarfies, I can see. Those suck.

Just venting. Do what's easiest. I rarely check BCP on my iPhone, except when traveling.

Re: There is an app for that!

To be honost, I'm not fond of the new mobile site. The lack of the chat option stinks like swine $*(#. It may grow on me like an ugly mole, but after messing aournd on it for a bit tonight I'm not a fan.

Re: There is an app for that!

Thanks Z. Taptalk is free on the Droid and works very well, but anything is better than that .mobi site!

If you plan to use the Tapatalk app from a mobile device, let me know via PM so I can add you to the mobile group.
