Is a zero thrust landing a true dead stick landing (engine off)?

Hey, there is a party almost every weekend at Mack Mesa.
John I think Ladd is just planning on a idle/no throttle landing. I'm bringing the camera either way. Ought to be a hoot.
I loaded a couple of vids from Sat. on the tube. I will put the ones of your stall practice on soon.

Zero thrust means your engine is at idle or higher. Some contestants had concern their engine may quit if they brought the throttle back too far. We intend to make this a fun and safe event where all types of aircraft can compete.
Come on out and play,
Ladd

Doesn't it have a parachute? What more do you need? The parachute fixes anything you do wrong!

Thanks for the invite Ladd, wish I could make it. Just had the baby so no trips for me for a bit!

And I think there is a prize for the plane with the most duct tape.

Congratulations to you and your wife Jason!
When Randy heals up, maybe you can both fly down to one of our monthly events.
