This is fascinating!

This is one of the most interesting videos I've seen come over the Internet. When you click on the address, episode #3 comes up ready to play.
I suggest you first click on "CONTACT" to the left and select #1, then watch them in order, #1 through #4. I was glued to the screen through all 4.
What guts it took for Lindbergh to overcome the odds against him and accomplish this amazing feat.

Select "Contact" after each clip to choose the next.

...remember, life is uncertain, eat desert first!
... and, those that pound their guns into plows, will plow for those who don't.

That's only the 4th time they've been posted on BCP! [-X So, I watched them all again for the 4th time. :D Good stuff!

I'm glad it got posted again, as it was the first time for me. Imagine anyone on BCP getting in their plane, not sure if it will take off in all the mud, fly off into the mist, and go to Paris! (with NO GPS)
Make me wonder how much of the gross weight was balls? [-o<

While aviation has made the world a smaller place, if you fall, it's still hard to miss!

And, did it with little or no sleep in the proceeding 24 hours! A testiment to his mental and physical strength being able to hold it together without nodding off and . . .

Very cool footage, thanks for posting!

I recently came across criticalpast.com and have only scratched the surface of the old aviation footage they have. Couple of favorites so far...
