I wonder if the party that lost the camera were the same ones to find it?

Looks like it started spinning so fast that the spin finally caught up with the frame rate just before it landed.

The camera I lost over the Salinas river was most likely found by a pig as well #-o

I believe the story was, that the farmer found it 8 months later and got the video from the memory card

That's why I designed and sell a mount to keep that from happening... 4 years of testing and use and one never so much as budged... :)

Super funny....

Although I would NEVER safety a camera to the airplane. Camera is worth peanuts compared to the damage a flapping camera body will do to the airplane.

I'm impressed the camera survived the fall and continued to record without corrupting the data. Like Bart said, pretty cool that the cameras frame rate was the same as the "tumble rate" at one point.
