This would be a fun back country airplane.

Turbine Cessna L-19 (the Siai-Marchetti SM.1019)

330HP, 1200 pound useful load plus another 330 lbs on the external hard points, 150 knot cruise, 7 hours range (with drop tanks), 280' takeoff and 300 foot landing w/60 degrees of flaps.

Funny, that plane is my old bosses. he has another one going together, and a few more in storage, I'm going to get some time in it hopefully when he puts it together. Someone bought one out west and put it on anfibs...
