Vicky at Tamarack Air in Fairbanks, Ak has one. She flew it to the supercub flyin at New Holstien, Wi. a few years ago. Call her she knows the airplanes foward and backwards.

Hey brad, it's always a little weird when a guy is reading something online and he stumbles across a picture of his own airplane. I own that Arctic Tern; it was at BRD getting some repairs made. Thanks for the kind words though, I try hard to keep it looking nice. If I knew how, I'd post a picture of me and a few friends on the ice at eel pout festival with it as well as a few other airplanes.

Surprised that nobody pointed this out at the time....Flight of the Arctic Tern written by Bud Helmericks was about him & his Cessna 140 floatplane, not an "Arctic Tern". Helmericks owned a succession of Cessna floatplanes (C140, C170, C180) all of which he apparently named "Arctic Tern".

Yep, I owned 69AG in the early 90's. I had her recovered and I chose those colors for visibility. I really liked that airplane, I sure hope she is working out for you and you are having fun!
