Throttle on flap johnson bar, like collective?
Lycoming, Continental, Hartzell, McCauley, or any broad spectrum drive system component used on multiple type.
I was just thinking after the go around talk, has anyone ever made a second throttle on the johnson bar, like what you see on a helicopter, could come in handy for more precision work

I get the throttle modulation on landing (a must for precision) but have you ever found a need to modulate flaps (other than dumping them) on landing?

Pretty rare, however on one river I’d land on the winds would bounce off the trees in odd ways, on a few occasions I’d reduce flaps to stop a float and then have to add the right back to cushion the landing. But for most of the time as you said it’s just a dump, I’ve also wondered if anyone ever made a auto dump tired to weight on wheels?

Know a couple cubs with a dump switch on the stick, but none tied to a squat switch. That would be cool, and easy, but might make for an interesting go around if you let the wheels touch

Not quite the same, but I've seen rock crawling rigs with a bicycle brake handle mounted to the shifter, hooked to the throttle so you can have feet on brakes and clutch and hand with throttle when crawling.
Can't really see the need on a flap handle.
If I remember right, the PA18 flap dump handles I've seen were pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder with an electric button on the stick grip.
