Times are tough

Another high-flying internet dream is crashing into economic reality: Jay Maynard, aka Tron Guy, is selling his customized airplane on eBay (costume not included).

It appears to be a really nice plane.

Re: Times are tough

It was the NTSB that wanted them grounded, the FAA disagreed and would not. The problem was apparently traced to loose control cables allowing flutter and I think there is a AD or equivalent to inspect them. I think his eBay listing addresses the controversy.
