Today was a good day.. Bushwheels & New Panel

Today was a very good day!
Damn...still tweaking here so I should probably not write anymore as I will end up writing way to much.
The new panel is complete and the BW's are on!! Had to go get them dirty of course.
Fired up...

Looks awesome AKT! Does that mean we're a go?

Careful where you're landing up there, don't fall into this thing... http://unofficialnetworks.com/gonna-die ... ell-25960/

Re: Today was a good day.. Bushwheels & New Panel

Awesome Kevin! That looks incredible! What a panel - Amazing it all fit and you kept the T-control column!

Seeing that now I feel the need to spend some money! I'm sure all I need to do is go price it and the feeling will go away! :D

I guess my radios sounded so bad today while trolling around the pattern that the jump plane pilot actually came over to tell me my radios suck! How bad is that!

#-o

Again, it looks great. Congratulations!

Flyenenger- You flying with Rich?

I think thats your plane. Yes, do not go price the panel however.... Not certain I am able to buy gas now but at least I have some muscle at the pump...

Get that beast of yours up here to our neck of the woods. We have a great circuit..You should come to Idaho next week!

Vick- will call you this weekend. Thinking I am leaving early Friday morning weather permitting but its looking good. Your in my friend!

They look great! I'm just wondering though, are they the 26's or 29's?

Re: Today was a good day.. Bushwheels & New Panel

Ridgerunner- Those are the 29's

BC- The first landing I bounced a bit but not much. Just needed to feel out the actual touch down. Landed about 10' before my spot and bounced through it. Feels like landing on skis or floats. Just amazing how soft and smooth they really are. Feels like landing on a cushion of air. Its crazy. Currently running them at 15 psi to get used to them. Thinking 12-14 psi is optimum. They are rated for 8-20 psi. Cannot really think where I would run them at 20...maybe if I were running from pavement to pavement.

Have been putting my time in on them for certain. Headed to the hanger now. Have some new holes to open up on our circuit around here. Also need to work out a few bugs on the panel. Last night the VOR wasnt receiving...hmmm

Hotshot- WUP said 29's are the best overall tire for the 180 inparticular. I really dig em! Maybe 31's next, but damn these things are just incredible

Wup IS hotshot  :D Loving these new brakes Wup.. can't believe how much smoother they are at stopping with more control in keeping the tail up if I want to... =D> now to squirrel away bucks for the tires... here we go again... 29's or 31's , scrubbed, or not???? geez I'm so confused...
