TOMORROW 10-4-08, Herron Field, West Virginia Picnic

Short notice, since it is tomorrow. This is between Pittsburgh, PA and East Liverpool, OH.

Herron (7G1) is having there annual picnic this sat. starting at 8am and
running all day. Gas is 475 a gal. Rummer has it they have repaved the
runway and it is 24 ft. wide now. If you have never been there ck.
Airnav before you go. 22 is the runway of choice since it is up hill
and remember that a state road crosses the runway in the middle so
watch out for the cars in case they go through the stop sign. I usally
slip the 8 in so I can see the runway, then straighten it out just
before touch down. This is a WVa. grass routs place with a lot of
really nice people there. I often stop in just to visit. Fuel is cash
only.
