Sell in Oregon or Arizona?

Zane deleted my first post 'cause I didn't read the fine print. So I'm asking the question in this category. Would my Savannah be easier to sell in Arizona or Oregon?

I've gotten my fill of flying/exploring/camping, and want to sell the flying machine. I winter in Arizona and summer in Oregon. The plane is currently in Oregon, but it will soon be time to go to Arizona. Any thoughts on one place or the other to sell?

tom

ps. search barnstormers for savannah if you are interested in the plane

Re: Sell in Oregon or Arizona?

What? DON'T quit on us Tom!!! Given up flying entirely? I can understand though as the thought has crossed my mind a time or two. Most of my reasoning though is not the costs...it has more to do with things getting so over regulated that they government has taken all the fun out of it. A secondary reason may be medical, as it seems to be getting harder and harder for me to enjoy sitting in the plane without discomfort.
If you sell, at least stick around and given all of us a hard time once in awhile. ;)

I never give a sucker an even break, so no, I won't be disappearing.

I think I've mentioned before that my primary reason to fly is for sight seeing. I've seen everything within a days flight from my home, and boring holes in the sky just doesn't do it for me. I've got 700 hour time flying, with 600 in my little Savannah. It's been great. I guess I'm just restless.

While I've been flying under light sport recently, I'm still healthy, so if I get a hankering to fly, I can always rent. Past experience shows that renting is a pain in the ass, but if I'm not doing it very often, it won't matter so much.

Tom, this is the same reason that I decided to move on from my 701. I had used up the fun within the circle of a day's flight too but I came to the conclusion that I just needed a bigger circle. Something to consider for yourself.
Like me, you will keep a fond place in your memory for the time you spent in your land anywhere plane.
