Seriously. Please let me never be caught on tape.
That guy at about 8:02 looks like he had it made, but then he hit a jump.

I believe that was a Lockeed Ventura.

That bounce in the p-51 was intense! Good thing he didn't firewall it and torque roll into the ground.

I have actually flown the Antonov that ground looped in the video...the pilot who was flying is an excellent stick with over 1,000 hours in the airplane and can make that old bird talk, but the old Annie is not one for crosswinds and she will take you for a ride if the winds are up.
The boys in the Ventura sure had their hands full...engine out and a stuck tailwheel...they handled it very well considering...

Those RedBull pilots get a little jittery on the controls, must be the free samples.

Blessed are the curious, for they shall have great adventures!
The twin with the engine "issue" might have been a Lockheed A-29 Hudson.

If you see someone with video camera, fly somewhere else. Because that's the time you're going to screw up.

They used to say there are no old bold pilots, hell, looka here........

I think I see the problem here.... all these incidents happened on pavement or asphalt! With the lighter and slower aircraft anyway, it seems a shame to see them struggling and ground looping on the pavement when you can see the smooth grass infield right behind them, and no one angled in to cheat a little bit, knocking a few degrees of xwind component off. That DC-3 landing was a thing of beauty!

I loved that DC-3 landing..thought he might run out of runway..didn't want to see that bird damaged!
Is there anyway I can download that video from utube..I would like to copy it and share with others?

That is Dan Gryder and the one wheel landing is his signature maneuver. He is an excellent pilot in the DC-3 although his people skills outside of the airplane have gotten him into a bit of trouble over the years. He brought that DC-3 into Moontown a few years back and had her in & out of the 2,000 feet with ease...he drug the left main through the wheat field on landing more for show than for need.
