Trains, Planes and Automoblies

This is the road and plane and train journey I took every second week as I battled to got my PPl. On this trip it was much easier because I had gotten my license the week before, but due to bad wx couldn't fly HOG home, so this is my last commute down to the big smoke. I haven't figured out how to do the graphics yet so heres a run down. My dogs, farm and local town Mullumbimby, Pacific Highway, Gold Coast Airport in Queensland, and the Domestic Airport train station in Sydney. A panorama of Camden aerodrome with the crusty instructor in the distance near his Citabria.
The first bit of flying is of the Sydney basin, the western burbs, then the Hawksbury River. The next city is an industrial city (Newcastle) where I finished the last 6 months of high school and had my first real job in a lead/zinc refinery, many forgettable nights were had on those streets. Then it's bits and pieces up the East Coast, the next big river is the area I grew up until the age of 17. I ran out of battery about 10nm from home, if you look in the distance at the end you might glimpse Casino in the distance away from the coast it was very smokey, fire season. I put music to it just to see if I could, and the last song is my 11 year old great niece singing. Sorry it's a bit long my editing skills will hopefully improve. [-o< :D

ozy,
I enjoyed seeing your part of the world. Being a father/grandfather and pilot I can relate to the music that includes your 11 yr old great niece singing. Good job. It was 12 minutes well spent viewing it.

Lynn Sanderson (Dirtstrip) passed away from natural causes in May 2013. He was a great contributor and will be missed dearly.

Thankyou for the ride Ozy.
So many adventures in that Maule.
If I'm in your neck o' the woods one day, I'll stop by.
