Paul,

Stephen Stills had a song "Tree Top Flyer" years ago. Jimmy Buffet did it later. I just thought he might have that name on some sort of copy write protection?

Deb wants me to make sure you have a cabin reserved for us for next July 2010 ?? What did you end up doing for an airplane?

Re: Tree Top Flyers ?

John, Remind me in May....... as for planes am still working on Cub Project, keep buying this and that, going to get fuselage over to painter soon, wings are ready. Have also got 7DC I traded for, I left it at my sons in Washington as I didnt have time or energy to fly it up this summer, thought I'd get a chance to go play around a bit down that way this winter. Still plugging away on the house, was gone out to bear camp for about 5 weeks, weather was really rough this year. Am going to get busy and get this house done so I can push the other place on the market. Hey you need a place up here to come each summer, on river and airstrip ! Rentals will almost pay for it if a person wanted to spend the time at it. Take Care and dont forget to remind me.

Tree Top is conducting a major software upgrade and will be back online shortly. When we return, our new home on the web will be a more appropriate location: skiplane.org

This from Doug Beck the Administrator/owner
That’s correct – it’s skiplane.org and I should have it up soon, no later than the end of the month.

Re: Tree Top Flyers ?

Hello Ski Flyers,

As you are probably aware, treetopflyers.org has suffered several technical issues in the last few months, requiring a major upgrade to the software which ran the forum.

Since the site's yearly renewal was due anyway, I decided to move to another location in conjunction with the upgrade. I think you will agree the location is more appropriate and easy to remember:

Presenting : http://skiplane.org

The site's software is updated, tested and should run better than ever. All original user data and content was preserved in the move so your login id and messages will all be there. So spread the word around that we have moved and upgraded, be it in your hanger flying or other sites where pilots may care about ski flying.

skiplane.org is now the biggest (ok, only) dedicated place on the internet for everything ski flying. It gets better every year for only one reason - its members sharing adventures, tech tips, fly-ins and pictures. I look forward to seeing you online again for this upcoming season.

Should anyone need to contact me personally, please note my email has also changed to [email protected]

Best Regards,

Doug Beck
