Two of the best inventions ever, skis and airplanes, together.
Hi

Have anyone experience with the guys at trickair, seems they don`t want to answer my emails..

What kind of airplane?
The Aero skis are great skis, and those folks are good through and through. Are you looking at straight skis, or penetration skis? Aero doesn't make penetration skis, though they make the 2800 "semi retractable" skis.

It's for my Auster j/1autocrat.
I have been flying with the aeroski m2000 for 3 winters now, but I am thinking of wheel penetration skis, since the snow smelt early at my home airfield.
The Auster isn't exactly overpowered, but it works fine with the aeroski.
The trickair skis have about 40% more floatation surface...

Having good luck with the Trickair 1500s; nothing to compare against. Forget emailing, need to call and ask for Jeremy. Making skis is only a small part of their entire operation. Plan on 3 months for fabrication, especially if you need a ski bracket made to adapt to your gear legs.

Guys with the Trickair Skis on their Maules. Are you mounting the tabs and cables to the gear bolts or are you trimming the cowl and mounting to the engine cradle bolts. I like the idea of attaching to the gear so as to avoid trimming the cowl. Any gotcha's?
Thanks
