All you guys dumping on Fargo reminded me of a story...
We were going into Fargo and doing a visual to 36. We reported the field in sight and approach says, "roger, cleared direct Fargo, cleared VOR 36." My FO and I look at each other and I key up and ask," Ma'am, you want us to do the full approach?"
This b!itch gets on and says in the most drool and sarcastic voice, "noooooooooooo, maintain present heading join the course. Can you do that?"
All I said was, "Roger" and switched to tower but I was so pissed. If that's what you wanted then why did you clear me for a full approach? I'd have to do a procedure turn and all on a VFR day with her clearance, and to come back to me like I'm the retard sorta crinkled patience.

I used to think the brain was the best organ in the human body. Then I realized who was telling me that.
Great Falls, MT is set up as a TRSA and it's good to participate IMO because of the 5 mail carriers that hub out of there. If you don't you get a clearance like this: "OK little fugger, cleared to land #2 behind the big fat Airbus, maintain best forward speed, caution wake turbulance."
