TU206 critical spares/tool kit
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?
Hey guys, maybe the folks with 135 experience, are there any critical spare parts are specific tools you like to carry into the back country when flying a turbo 206?

Lots of 135 experience and 206 experience but not much 135 206 experience
That said I’ll start with the obvious tire tubes and means of changing a tube
I also like the hose on the front oleo mod
Cables to be able to jump the battery depending on the plane
Basic multi tool and paracord, extra oil and funnel, etc standard issue kit

I've never changed a tube in the field, only in the comfort of my hangar. What would you pack for an emergency tube replacement? I have a small slime kit in my bag but I don't have tubes, I have sockets to pull a wheel apart and a 12v pump.
One of the fears I have is the 24v system on this plane, and the subsequent difficulty of finding a jump. I'm considering bying an EarthX backup battery.

I always carry an 8.50 tube and a tail wheel tube and tire. Not so much to change them myself
(though I can) but to have them for an FBO to change who may not have one in stock. Not needed them yet but have twice helped other pilots out.

What are people carrying for pumping up the tire once it is changed? Hand pump? Small battery compressor? CO2 system?
I was thinking a smaller bike hand pump would be more dependable though it would take longer to fill the tire.

I have sockets and such to remove a wheel to replace a tube, but I don't have a means to break a bead in the field. What tool do you guys carry to remove a tire from the wheel?

Are your wheels normal 2 piece aviation ones?
If so you just unbolt both halves of the wheel, no bead to break

Lay the wheel flat, use the jack to "break the bead". Sometimes the halves need a little persuasion to come free. If they didn't you'd be shearing valve stems.

I usually use the pump to adjust my tire pressures when in the field after deflating the tires for off airport stuff before heading back home in preparation for a long taxi to on pavement to the hangar. Once, I had to completely re-inflate a 29' AK bush wheel after I took a screw to the tire coming out of Gulkana. It took a while to pump up the tire but it totally worked. I'm sure the company makes new models and probably some that are even lighter, but I am very satisfied with the size and weight of my pump. It's probably 12 years old.
