Tube/Fabric A&P in OR
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?
Looked at a Taylorcraft BC-12D in Madras, OR yesterday. Can anyone here recommend an A&P near there who may be able to do a pre-buy (in Bend or Redmond maybe)? Or even someone near by who is familiar with Tcrafts or tube and fabric planes? The fabric is in decent condition for it's age (I think) but is old ('75). I'm hoping to find a second set of eyes to look it over.

Steve's Aircraft is located in Central Point, Oregon (3hr drive) and I would highly recommend their services and expertise in all things "tube and fabric".
I am sure some of the other BCP members would attest to the same opinion.
All the best!

Have a chat with Robert Berg, the FBO at Madras (541-475-4899). He is an A&P/IA, tail wheel pilot and Scout owner. I believe he is currently rebuilding a Scout for a customer. He can probably fulfill your requirements and may well know something of the history of that particular T-craft.
