I have been using the PowerTow gas model for years.
http://www.powertow.com/products.html It is a good piece of equipment and does the job. I chose the gas model so I can use it anywhere. Especially useful when taking the plane to the wash rack or fuel dock when I don't want to run the engine. It moves my C205 even when full of my camping stuff.
My wife bought me the newer model with a clutch last year, so I have an older one in the hangar that I have been thinking of putting up on Ebay. PM me if you want to talk about these things. A tug really saves your back when moving the plane around.

You're never too old to learn something stupid.
I am sure there are tons of different options depending on your needs and budget. On the cheap side, i know one guy who put a tow hitch on his old riding lawn mower. He uses a long tow bar and lets other hangar mates use it as well. I am sure you could pick one up on craigslist or a local used lawn mower place depending on where you live. A used Gas/Electric Golf cart, often sold by golf courses wanting to unload the older models can also be useful.

A lot of the old farts at my a/p are using electric winches to pull them back into the hangar. getting them out doesn't seem to be as much of a problem.
