Guys, I'm completely new to the subject of Tundra Tire Mods. I decided to educate myself by asking questions of local bush pilots, searching the FAA.gov site, Google stuff, and of course here at BCP.

I had some success, but I figure all of you guys know a ton more about where to find or search for documents that pertain to the subject. Please feel free to list or link any other documents the can be found so that the next poor dumb SOB like me can find them just a bit easier than me. This isn't a Tundra Tire buyers guide or pro's vs con's thread. ( No 7500 please ). Its a document library thread.

Besides a 337, there's a "work sheet for tundra tire installation". It doesn't have a form number, but I have a copy of a completed one from the Sacramento FSDO.

Well, that's about it for me. I'm sure there are many other dealers and parts providers, but this is just what I found to read up on the subject so that I am not quite so lost when somebody says "...yeah I have 29 blimps with a 337 and no STC. I didn't need a DAR at the FSDO from the FAA if its on the MX5, unless I use the Airstreaks, then Whoa..., cause the field approval would be hard, because there is no TSO on that baby, just check Atlee and ask about PMA's on the McCreary's, but I really like the Condors on my 6's with Clevlands, but I cant use the 3 bolt, Why not?, because of the dang 337 that I still need a copy of from you, and ANC FAA doesn't even use the Tunrda Tire Worksheet anymore, can you believe that?"

SAC FSDO Tundra Tire Worksheet. This copy was attached to a 337 and submitted with it for approval to SAC FSDO.
I have cleared the blank spaces of the names and N numbers for you to use. Its just another tool. It is in my photo album.

I talked to a local A&P. He is relatively young and new, so he was apprehensive not about the install, but about the paperwork. Here is a sample 337 from a C-185 tundra tire install. The names, N number, and all the personal stuff has been removed. 5 pages total.
