Mother Navy has seen fit to send me TDY for two weeks of class in San Diego where the class schedule is reputed to be not very rigorous. Consequently, I'm searching for some place in the area I can rent a little inexpensive taildragger after class. I found a Champ at Brown field but when I called to inquire, the gentleman said he was just hanging the motor and it won't be up for another 2 weeks
there is no shortage of 172s and the like in the area but since the ink on my TW endorsement is still wet, I'd like to keep hammering away at it and adding experience while all the lessons are still fresh. Does anyone know of an airworth taildragger for rent in the area?
