Go to the town of Garrison on the North West corner of Mille Lacs lake. Amble south along the west shore line a couple miles and you can't miss the ice runway and all the airplanes. Freq is 122.9
courierguy, I think it might have been a wee bit of a long flight for you. You could have stopped in and RON at my place I guess. The Fly-in was on Mille Lacs lake in eastern MN. East of Brainard.
Had a nice time there, last count of planes I heard was 82 and I think a few showed up after that. Great day for flying, light winds, and about +20 F. A heat wave for this Mn winter! Jim Chuk
Good seeing you there Jim, I was #85 after the 2 1/2 hour flight in. Ended up being close to 2 hours back home. It was good to be getting the clothing zeroed in for the open flying.
