UAV used in North Dakota

Law enforcement use of these things is increasing, and they've finally got a case they're willing to publicize in order to curry public favor.

From a civil rights perspective, I'm strongly against the use of these things for spying on U.S. citizens. Furthermore, if their use continues to increase, I can imagine plenty of new restricted airspaces to give them unfettered use of the skies. Oh, well, on the bright side, they're only about 15 - 20 times the cost of a new helicopter, so after they find about 25000 more cows, it will start paying for itself.

With a robotic army/airforce you have more and more destructive capability in an ever decreasing number of folks at the top. Makes me nervous. Google Senate Bill 1867.

This happened about 45 miles from me. I think it was a good use of technology, in an effort to avoid any gunplay. The guy is plain nuts, it is sad to see what he has drug his kids into.

The guy is criminal, period. The cost of flying a drone for a couple of hours is nothing compared to what the cost of the trial and jail time will be.

Big brother is watching :D
