Unleaded Fuel with no ethanol. Where to buy. Add your place

By next week we should be able to buy 87 or 92 UL mogas with no ethanol at Marc Nelson Oil Products in Salem, Oregon.

http://www.marcnelsonoil.com/default.asp

I am going to keep 500 gallons here at my farm for the Maule.

Home delivery will be available for a slightly higher price.

Just thought you might like to know.

Cheers...Rob

I wonder if jobbers down Medford way will be able to get the same stuff and also will they be interested in doing so.

Do you have strip at the farm.

Hi Tim, I have 850' of hay field. So far I am to chicken, ah, to wise to try it.

I have a 100 gallon tank in the back of the PU, so I haul it to KTTD.

Good question on Medford. It is legal in Or. Wa. and Id to sell UL mogas for off road use. But as we are finding out it is not easy to find, YET! I think that will change.

Rob, How much will it be? Here in town prices just went up to $3.60 for straight unleaded and $3.50 for 10% ethanol.

Hate to reply to my own post but here goes.

http://www.haysoil.com/

Just talked to Dave in Cental Point and they have it in Central Point, OR and in two weeks it will be in Medford, OR. For us in Nor Cal we can fill our slip tank and bring it home. Been a big demand.

Marty, I don't know. Marc Nelson is my Pacific Pride dealer. There prices are usually in the mid range of local prices. Much better than 100LL at the AP.

It cannot be sold at the stations in town. Can only be sold at their rack. The guy a Hays said that he is usually a 5 cents cheaper than in town. Town prices varry by 8 cents so who knows.

I would run the Eth if I lived east of the Rockies.

Incidentally I found this in another forum, a truck bed transfer tank that is authorized for flammable (read: gasoline and avgas) liquids. Most you see are only certified for diesel and the like.

http://www.transferflow.com/refueling_tanks.html

I'm sure the shipping companies will bend me over to get it up here, so I'm going to hold off for now and keep with the gas cans.

I was kidding.

On the other hand, install some long range tanks in the Maule, and you could have a thriving business on the side. "Fly to your hanger, mogas delivery service. All for the incredibly low low price of only twice the cost of AvGas!"

The 150 does have a mogas. STC. Might be worth flying down there to fill a tank since I'd only burn about a gallon getting down there. What did I figure for the trip to the dalles? I think it came to 5.3gph. It may not have much power but it sure is easy(er) on the pocket book.

I just bought 50 gallons this afternoon. $3.96 They have a duel tank system, so you can get mogas or avgas 24/7. The new folks running LebanAir Aviation are Larry and Danna Knox. They are very friendly and seem very anxious to serve. As others have said in this forum, they are planning to expand mogas sales at Mulino State and Cottage Grove airports.
