uploading pics

I know I have seen stuff on this before but I am having a brain dead day.

How do I upload pics to the forum?

How do I upload pics to the gallery?

Do I need to put them on my website and then link them?

speak slowly and use small words OK

Check the how-to and tutorial forum on this site. It should be able to guide you through the steps no problem.

I don't know what I am doing wrong here, I have created an album OK and everything seems to work when I tell it to upload but after it sits for a while it comes on and says 0 files uploaded.

Now what coach?

After you've successfully uploaded your pics are you continuing on and placing them in the album that you've just created? I seem to recall that happening to me at first because I was too impatient to click continue and then place the files in my album.

File size could be the culprit too. I fought that one for a while. As I recall, HAL doesn't tell you why it didn't do it, just that it wasn't done.

Yeah sorry, I think the error output text is hidden in a white-on-white kinda thing.

File size must be below 500 KB and resolution can not be larger than 1600 pixels in either dimension. I do this to prevent people from lazily uploading 6 megapixel files and needlessly wasting storage space.

Sorry for the delay on this, I'm at a business seminar in southern california.

yeah yeah work, the curse of the leisure classes right.

OK I will reduce the file size and try it again.

proper tail

Of course, the one I show has the proper tail!!! For those strange people who like big butts we can do them too,

To create a one off design costs a lot but if there are a bunch of you big tail guys out there we can do one.

Shane,

There's a happy medium for resizing your pics. I prefer 800x600 or 1024x768 for web use. That's big enough for a guy to use as a desktop wallpaper or see some better detail on your images.

The little guys you uploaded might make it hard for interested people to see much detail. Just my $.02...
