Upper Loon departure

Here is video my wife took as we were departing Upper Loon. Can't see much because she had to take it out the side window.

The sun was extreamly blinding during departure..as some would say it sucked pond water.

Nice clip! Thanks for posting this. It's sad to see so much of the timber burned. At least there are a few stands that made it, and the trout are still there, aren't they?
I remember a couple of places where the sun can be a problem. Upper Loon in the a.m. is one of them when the canyon wall is still in shadow. Another one is departing Dixie FS in the evening. When you turn west on climbout down Crooked Creek, the sun shines right in your eyes. Not fun when you're surrounded by trees and there's a sharp bend in the canyon ahead. I'm sure there are others, but these got my attention at one time or another.
