I am looking for a used seaplane rail system for my Stinson. preferably within driving distance to northern Minnesota.

Jim, check Craig's List, have seen them for sale there before. DH docks in Nisswa Mn might be able to give you a lead on a used system, they have been good to work with in the past for rail parts/questions. Suggestion: get one with a braking system, or buy the braking system (they are an add-on accessory) to prevent possible runaway problems which can happen with the heavier planes (experienced it) and if the used system does not have stainless cable, buy some before you install the system. A remote control is a nice addition. I have two rail systems which I dearly love. Set one up right and it should be relatively trouble free.
