Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
Thanks for the forest fire quick reference site. We plan on going to Yellowpine and camp next week for the Harmonica Festival (forest fires permitting). We had the Maule at Johnson Creek for the Back Country Fly-In in June, but plan of driving up this time due to several stops enroute.

Thought I'd share.
This one's better. Click on a state in the upper right to narrow down your choices. They have pictures and even better they have maps of where the fires are every day.

I always use
www.nifc.gov
They have all the info on what equipment is working each fire on the situation report, and it's pretty well updated asap.

God put me here to accomplish a certain amount of things...right now I'm so far behind, I'll never die!!
I know they've got a job to do (coulda done it sooner perhaps....) but this is making my job really difficult. I usually can't make 11,000'. I feel like a rat in a maze.
