Value of core O470 and prop

Looking for a little help. I've found a core O470 (L we think) no logs and everything completely unknown. Same goes for the prop. All we know is they came off a 1959 C182. What would you pay for them?

Re: Value of core O470 and prop

The o/h on a propeller is $3,500. No logs core price $500 on the prop. The engine no logs core price $1,000/$1,500. $ 2,500 for both would be top $. There are a lot of 470's out there and I have seen some with logs still running with known history for $2,500. Continental 0-470's and lycoming 0-320's are like small block chevy's, made lots of them.
