I post this to honor the members of the airteam and Todd Eslick who was right wingman for the Tea, South Dakota ethanol powered RV aerobatic team. At 28 he was a recent addition to the team and died on the 16th of August in the crash of his RV8 with the 12yr old son of his friend from Brookings, SD who wished also to become a pilot like his hero. The Sioux Falls airshow was Todd's last performance with the team. I wish to share that performance in their memory. Investigation of the crash is proceeding but personal contacts in Sioux Falls say the engine backfired, quit once, and was restarted only to quit again before the crash. He was performing aerobatics when it happened.
