I'm sure the Aircam wouldn't fly as well. I don't think it could take off on one engine with an O-200, but does do with the Rotax.
Still sounds like crap, IMO though.

When the designer of the Vashon said it had a “real engine” in it I immediately lost respect. I really can’t stand these ignorant comments within the LSA sector.
We had one parked at our flight school for a couple of weeks and a storm came through and bent one of the mains in noticeably which made me question how strong it might be.
I don’t see why anybody would consider one with the Zlin Savage Norden available with a 912 ULS at $116K. Just check out at 4:00 minutes in this video to see what I’m talking about.

Another great option for new, factory built LSA would be the Aerotrek A220 (taildragger) and A240 (nose wheel) - which also start under $100k. These are even available from the factory with larger bush tires (even the nose dragger) and have the 100hp Rotax 912ULS. Haven't flown one (but would love to), but they look pretty decent. Folding wings like the Kitfox (reducing needed hangar space, etc.) and I believe can be on floats as well.
