Video: Gold Mine & Tailwheel Ridge

A video of some of the fun we had in Nevada at HSF. Stay tuned, one more to follow when I find the time.

Re: Video: Gold Mine & Tailwheel Ridge

It is so awesome seeing all these places come to life and now having people enjoy them!! I honestly never thought that they would become more than me just landing there.

Not tooting my horn here but proud to say the least!

Great stuff RP!!! Seriously. I have a hard drive with a couple hours of drone footage from those guys. I should send it to you and you could make the sequel to what Z made.

Thanks for posting!

Awesome video.. at approximately 2:35 in the very left of the frame it looks like there is a plane with a broken landing gear or something? Whats the story there?

Re: Video: Gold Mine & Tailwheel Ridge

The "Gold Mine", is actually not and never was a gold mine at all, but rather the old "Minnesota Mine" operated by The Standard Slag Company. It produced approximately 4 million tons of iron ore.

But if you guys want to call it "The Gold Mine", I guess that's okay :^o

This laizzes faire attitude shown by some High Sierra pilots, as exemplified by your dismissive response to my post, has already resulted in numerous pilots wasting their time and energy picking up gold diggers in local bars and then flying them out to the "Gold MIne" in the futile hope of striking it rich. This is just plain pitiful. [-X

Re: Video: Gold Mine & Tailwheel Ridge

If that's what the gold-diggers look like that they're picking up at the local bars, they're doing it wrong...
