Video of T3 Tailwheel off-airport?

I am interested to know if anyone's ever seen a video of the T3 tailwheel operating on properly rough riverbed country??? I would LOVE to see some video, particularly a T3 installed on a heavier plane where the tail rides the rock for a long time during take-off.

To be specific, I am thinking this kind of off airport stuff:

Not this kind of off-airport stuff:

An aside, I reckon a leaf or rod spring is good as gold for the latter example of landing surface, based on my experiences there is absolutely no need for anything more. But you can really feel the tail and fuselage takes a hammering on the rock surfaces in the two former pictures.

I am trying to decide between leaf spring, stinger, and T3. The Bearhawk has the choice of all three, which is great. =P~

We have multiple videos on our Big Tire Pilot / Backcountry Flyer group on FB.

I would never want to steer folks away from here as I really only direct them here but join our group (now 3000 members) and you will see a lot of videos of it in action.

Battson, now you can see who my new heroes are, who I aspire to be. :P

Kevin sent me this link, though I cannot take responsibility for the vertical video syndrome:

Thanks Z and Kevin,

That's cool. You can clearly see the T3 soak up the impact. I was surprised how little work it did after that, the plane is clearly light in the tail on landing.

Recognising these are still quite new, I guess there are't many videos around yet. I am glad for whatever I can get hold of.

Did you watch Swingle's video? I think he has GoPro footage of the tail in action.

Jonathan,

You must have been in the outback the day I posted this ;-)

I've been in your size rocks here in Alaska (no video sorry) and all who've flown with me and seen the T3 in action have been amazed. In this video, once I'm in the rocks, you'll see how well it goes over them instead of transferring to the airframe.
