At the request of AOPA the Texas STOL Roundup Team will be at AOPA’s 2017 Norman Oklahoma (KOUN) Fly-in on Saturday September 9th where we will conduct a STOL seminar followed by an Obstacle STOL® (wind permitting) and a Traditional STOL® competition demonstration which will show some practical applications of the seminar.
The STOL seminar lesson is being co-developed by Mike Vivion, Phil Whittemore and Ken Wittekiend, and will be part of a larger Backcountry/STOL curricula at this year’s Texas STOL Roundup and other future events.
We hope to see some of you there.

That event was a bucket of fun. Some really nice flying and couldn't have asked for better weather.
