Wow, great thread! Love the old photos and Bill Woods' Dos and Don'ts is great reading. I've got a few old photos my dad took when he was a youngster. This one was taken in Ethiopia when he was a fresh geologist just out of Stanford in 1950. It was a big deal when HIM Haile Selassie visited the oil fields.

BTW, I scanned these from Kodachrome slides dad had in old boxes and the paper mounts were about dust but the Kodachrome definitely stands the test of time.

My airplane in 1971. Check out the cool registration, and the giant antenna. I like the paint scheme.

As it looked when we brought it back to the USA in 1990.
