Violating two rules in one swell foop

No politics, or religion talk, I get that, but this pic I took today made me think of those rules, and I took it anyway, but I'm not adding any commentary, other than it never used to be there, is seen by few, (west bench, between Mackey and Arco) and was a hell of a lot of work to plant.Image

Cross is 8" channel iron, about 16' high. Major project, had to cut a road etc. Not visible to most, or by a major highway.

Both American Flag and Cross of Christ have historically been bipartisan. Atheism as well, but less popular. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

Personally I think the person was spelling out "Atheism"

American flag stands for A, then they did the lowercase T, next step will be H.

It is a unifying symbol. It is displayed in public schools and public buildings and public cemeteries to bring people, including politicians, together in the objective of a more perfect union.

Re: Violating two rules in one swell foop

Me thinks the OP doth protest too much. It’s just a photo from a plane, fine.

But if you go spoiling to “violate rules” that’s a little trolly. Then if people argue about some implied political subtext, then this thread will get tanked. You choose,

No deeper meaning less whatever the viewer wants to put on it. My first thought was it was one of the many things I've seen from the air that groundpounders may not, another example of how cool flying is.
