Snohomish, Washington. Fire In the Sky takes place July 14 through 17 at Harvey Field (S43). Featuring balloon glow, skydiving competition, fireworks, and carnival. Contact Kla Ha Ya Committee, 425/334-1849.

Portland-Mulino, Oregon. The Mulino Blueberry Pancake Breakfast takes place July 16 and 17 at Portland-Mulino Airport (4S9). Sponsored by the Mulino Chapter of the Oregon Pilots Association from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Contact Jerry, 503/667-9233, or visit the Web site.

Vancouver, Washington. Westward Ho The Pipers takes place July 18 through 21 at Pearson Field (VUO). This short wing piper club annual convention is held at the Red Lion Inn. Contact Phil Pirrotta, 503/675-6441, or visit the Web site.

Also coming up is the annual "Airport Days" fly-in at Jefferson County Airport near Port Townsend. As usual, it's the weekend after Arlington--this year it's July 16 & 17.
US Customs service is available by advance notice, free overnight tiedown and airplane camping, excellent cafe (the Spruce Goose) on the field open 7am-4pm, saturday night party/BBQ/potluck on the infield, probably even gonna be some action on the volleyball court.
