Got my GNS430 back from Garmin with the WAAS upgrade. As an added bonus it now has terrain awareness. Pretty cool. I still have to run it out to Nervino for the correct antenna cable but I thought I'd wait till the wind slows down a little....BTW since the old navdata card won't work I'd be willing to part with mine for beer money or interesting trade.

SuperDave, I got mine back from the upgrade last week. I went ahead and got the XM weather, which should be pretty slick. The maps seem to be set up a little different and I have not figured out how or if you can put NAV info on the left side of all the pages, I only have it on one. I did not get a new manual with the upgrade and have not yet looked on the Garmin site to see if there is any information on how to operate the new functions. The terrain thing seems to be a little annoying here in the flat country but will have it's place out where most of you operate. We tried the WAAS out on a couple of approaches and it opens up a lot more options for non-ILS runways. Keep us updated as you figure it out.
