Washington-Ohio

We are going to head east on the 3rd of June, going to go to AXV in Ohio. Catching up with some Grandboys!!! :o
Would like recomendations for fuel stop 1/4 of the way there and at around the 1/2way point, a good place to stay the night!! :?:
Then another fuel stop at around 3/4 the way there. it figures about 1750 sm. can travel up to 600 miles a leg with reserve.
First stop would be around the MT/SD/ND corners, overnight would be SD/MN/IA corners, one more stop for fuel MN/IL/IN? any recomendations for good places/good people and interesting stops would be great.
Looks like we will be flying around a lot of weather ????
Wife does not want to sleep under the wing of the RV6 this trip?
With the RV there's not much room for extras like sleeping bags and such.
No hurry on the trip, have lots of time to deviate to an interesting place. 8)
Will be returning in a week or so, so could use all the suggestions available.
Thanks in advance GT&HA

Have as much Fun as is Safe, and Keep SMILIN! GT,

I have flown from Kooskia, ID to Bloomington, IL. We made stops in Hamilton Mt. for fuel ( we came from ONO since fuel) we made a fuel stop in Sheridan, WY. and we stopped in Custer, SD. overnite. We stopped at Denison , IW. for fuel and breakfast ( used their curtesy car) last stop was Bloomington, IL. Those were all good stopping places. I don't know anything about fuel prices as this was a few years ago. We didn't fly direct as I wanted to stay north of the highest points in MT. That is the best I can do for you. We were flying my 182B Cessna on this flight. Bob
