Washington St. contingent cruise directors

Hi Gents and Ladies, Every year my two sons and I fly our M7 from MN to the Idaho and Montana Backcountry for a week or two. This upcoming summer (aka next June) we are thinking about taking it a bit further and venturing to the Seattle/San Juans/Mt Olympus area and then down the coast a bit into OR. Looking for suggestions on scenery related strips along the lines of Big Cr or Moose Cr in northern WA and then along the coast. Thanks. One more for the locals...any suggestions on my choice of the end of June...great in ID and MT but might be iffy in western WA??

Washington trip

As JC said June can be a real crap shoot weather wise.

Normally after the 4th of July you get better weather.

I would say Stehekin, Quillyute ( sp ) on the coast and Copalis airports are must stops. Get a tide table for Copalis since the runway goes away at high tides.

Roche Harbor is a nice airport on the islands as is Eastsound, both have access to good eats.

Pie at Jefferson County is worth the stop, rest of the menu is pretty good as well.
