I would say something, but blood is shooting out of my eyes and fire out my ass. Anything I say at this point will send this thread to hot air. My silence now is golden. [-X

What they have in common is the ability to cost you money.

I just received this from my State Senator:

"For your information, a bill was introduced today in the Senate that includes a replacement of the existing aircraft excise tax with a tax of 0.5% of the depreciated value of the aircraft. This bill will be heard in the Senate Ways & Means Committee, of which I am a member."

Senator Jeanne Kohl-Welles
36th Legislative District

Call or write your State Senator.

911operator: Ok sir,,we will send out the paramedics, please be advised one will be a republican and the other one is a card carrying ACORN member.

me: Never mind ma'am,, he overheard this phone call and gone into cariac arrest and the health care reform bill can't fix this mess.

Got this email from the Washington Pilots Association today. Write your congressmen if you live in Washington! Angry political rant deleted... Stupid A$$holes in Olympia!

-Matt

URGENT . . . IMMEDIATE ACTION . . . URGENT

The following message was sent to Greg Pecoraro, VP at AOPA and myself. The message is clear . . . we are having an impact on the State Legislators. We can beat this thing!

We need an immediate and all-out effort today and tomorrow. If you sent a letter last week . . . send it again. If you did that; then send an email. if you did that; then call them on the phone.

Don't be fooled by the 1969 and older aircraft trick . . . That was their attempt to divide and conquer.

The future of aviation in Washington State is in our hands. This must be a 100% effort . . . PLEASE

Good to hear eyes and ass now safe.

I received a nice thank you note from my representative after I emailed a "thank you" for opposing the excise tax. Not all of these folks have their heads where the sun does not shine.
