What certified climb prop for a 290-d

Howdy, got a few questions for you fine folks.

I have a piper j5 with an o-290-d in it. I am exploring the idea of getting a prop that is pitched more for climb. Right now its got more of a cruise pitch prop on it (76-something,..I have to double check) and I am confused how to go about finding a flatter pitched prop for it and keep it legal. Do I look up what props are approved for the motor? Or are the only one or a few props that are approved for that motor on that plane? If I recall correctly, the stc for the o290 on a j5 lists a couple of props that are approved for that airframe/engine combination but they didn't strike me as climb pitched props. Are there prop companies that have additional stc's for different prop/motor combinations that I could get ahold of?

I have LSA paperwork for my J5A O290D with a GM74-48. It's essentially a field approval from CA that does not transfer over to the US. It needs to get it re addressed in the US with the local FSDO. It's for sale if you're interested.
