That seems like a decent option, but be careful to register and be logged in before uploading or you'll lose control of your images. In putting the upload button first and foremost, it may not be apparent that anything you upload is completely public and you lose the chance to even delete your upload if you lose the one-time delete link they present you.

This pay to play business seemed to have happened all at once. I used Tinypic.com for years and now it won't. Frustrating. There are no images on their site that I don't have backed up at home but I consider them lost now.

So I guess I don't know what third party hosting mean? They are hosting it for use on BBs. I just signed up at Imgur and posted two images here on BCP. Did I break their rules? They provide a pre-made Img code link.
