It sure opens up access to the baggage area, hard to figure how it doesn't bend in half on a hard landing. Yes the main gear loads are forward of that huge opening, and I'm sure it works OK, and I think the same about Maules so what do I know. Makes one wonder why more don't do it though, weight and balance issues aside.
