What to do in Arizona

Short notice, but a rescheduled work trip leaves me in Arizona for two days with a free schedule. I fly into Phoenix this Sunday morning and I'm free until Tuesday morning (back in Scottsdale). I'm thinking of driving up to Sedona to try and escape the heat, maybe doing a little fishing.

Who's around? Any suggestions? Doesn't have to be aviation related...

Great old mining town, Jerome, near Cottonwood.

Montezuma Castle near Camp Verde. Cliff Dwellings.

Train ride from Clarkdale to Perkinsville. Runs along Verde River with some great scenery.

Watch out for the vortex's in Sedona. Oak Creek is beautiful, lots of hiking opportunities in the area.

Pinnacle Peak restaurant in Scottsdale for cowboy steaks and a fun time.

Stop in at Carefree (18AZ) and you might find someone to fly you into Red Creek. Talk to Tommy and tell him Rich told you to stop by.

Wine tasting near Cottonwood.
