Max drove thru there about a month ago and talked to the owner, all is the same. Just be careful if they got rain the dry lake bed may not be so dry last year I over flew and the east end was pretty wet. I was out east of 29 Palms (yesterday) on Cadiz Lake bed and it was raining but not really enough to be a problem. When you going? Remember according to Ranger Dick there are only 3 dry lake beds you can land on down here![]()

..........These signs are more of an effort to keep the off-roader's vehicles from tearing up the ground where the airplanes taxi before the fence is finished. It's also a little CYA...I've heard that it's hard to legally go after the "bad" trespassers if you haven't posted these signs

Care to share which ones? I've been meaning to figure out the whole dry lakebed thing down here in socal. Any recommendations or things worth doing / seeing? Any camping or - better yet - fly in hunting to be done (chukar?)?
