When I grow up I want to be a Taildragger

Well I’ve been feeding it Steroids, giving it back country books to read and DVD’s to watch like Big rocks and Long Props  and I think it’s starting to do some good. 8)

I’ll keep you update on our progress.

Cool ! You can convert that into a fantastic little bushplane, just like a plain farm girl can convert herself into a movie star. Just takes the right surgeon :-)

Very exciting! :D Pacers are sweet little airplanes. Are you planning on some big tires?

A Pacer is a sweet ride especially if you like rudder peddles, and so many people just have no idea. I would love a Maule but it's out of my price range. So the Pacer is perfect for me. :D They are also known as the poor mans Cub and I guess a poor mans Maule too.

What about the 701 ? If I recall correctly, you had one flyer and one or more projects at a private strip up there a while back ?

Re: When I grow up I want to be a Taildragger

Maules have been called "poor man's 180" but they aren't referring to the M4 with 210 HP..... sold the tripacer for 25000 bucks and bought the maule for 40000 bucks..which was about what I'd spend to convert the PA 22 into a taildragger with 180 HP. So for 15000 bucks I got 210 HP, constant speed prop, a great baggage door and more hauling ability, slightly higher cruise speed and increased penis growth..Oh and way better short field performance...
