When the sky opens up

I am looking forward to decent weather to go almost anywhere in the plane. Was going to So Cal this weekend but it does not look like I can get home. We are takeing the Tahoe instead and am looking forward to a 12 hr drive. AS if.

The last weekend of April I am up for any kind of pilot get together. Is it to early for Idaho camping or do you think the desert is a better choice.

I would just like to go some place a bit out of the way and hook up with a few like minded folks. Does anybody know af any flyins that weekend.

If the weather is decent, Oregon might be a good choice. Relatively low elevations so not much snow on the ground. I will be up there that weekend at Grants Pass, nursing on my 170. If good wx, Jr Cubbuilder may come down from WA. It's a pretty short hop for you if you want to come say hi.

Next Sat/Sun (weather permitting) my wife and I are flying up to KCEC and going overnight camping in the Redwoods National Park by Crescent City. Happy to share a rental car to/from the park ;-)

On May 6th/7th a fair number of the California RV flyers are getting together for a night of camping and BBQ at Oceano. I guess we count as 'like minded folks' - please come.

Idaho camping in April? It's snowing right now, just got back from skiing in 7" of fresh.... If it's not covered in snow now, it's pretty darn soggy!
