Where should I go?

So, I'm playing bachelor this weekend and thinking about doing a test run camping with the airplane. I figured going by myself without the wife and kids for the first time would give me a chance to scout out a good place and figure out what I need to leave behind in the future and what I should bring the next time. I'm kind of thinking about Johnson creek since I've never been there but that might be a little far for my first run(flying out of central WA). Does anyone have any good reports or suggestions?

Looks like you are in the Wenatchee area, I would suggest Stehekin, Tieton, Lake Wenatchee, or Lost River, maybe Sullivan lake if you want to fly a bit further.

Electric City (Grand Coulee Dam) isn't exactly back country but it's kinda cool, right on Banks Lake. I think they have an airport car if you wanna run into town.

I like the camera idea. I work at Stehekin ocasionaly so that doesn't have alot of appeal. I'm the sure the strip is rough right now too. Lake wenatchee is practicly in my back yard so that won't waste nearly enough gas. Where's the good fishing right now? That might help my decision.
